We are gonna lose Edwards and Reid. But, we are gonna get Al Groh to help out on D. He is a great defensive mind and him coaching on our D definately makes up for the losses of those coaches.

Oh yeah, Groh really built UVA's defense into something special during his time at UVA.

If you actually were familiar with UVA football you would know that Groh has been widely criticized for his failings to make adjustments on the defensive side of the ball.

I know nothing about college football, but his point seems to be a reasonable one, and your answer doesn't shed any light on the subject at hand at all. I don't think we have a place for Al Groh, but if the possibility exists that he might come here, I want to know his strengths and weaknesses. Your post didn't help me-or anybody else-learn anything useful.

College coaches don't usually make it in the NFL as HC, but they sometimes make decent coordinators.
