Sanchez sucks so bad, 4 int again today, the Jets screwed the pooch trading picks to get him and then they drafted only one other guy if I remember right.
Sanchez's Wonderlich score was leaked at being 28 which was labelled as "respectable."
However Matt Stafford was at 38.
I just don't think a lot of Sanchez's choices were too brilliant today.
It didn't seem like a lack of skill or arm strength that led to the interceptions.
It seemed like he was looking and simply made bad decisions to throw the pass.
There was one pass in particular when it was obvious he should have simply thrown the ball into the cheap seats.
If any Dolfans live in New York, I would love to hear what the uproar will be in the same manner as what the uproar in New England was surrounding the go for it on 4th at the 28 decision was last week.
This could be David Carr all over again. I think we may be seeing the effective end of a what COULD BE a great career for Sanchez. He wasn't ready to be thrown to the wolves. Since Rothlisberger a few years ago and Matt Ryan/Flacco last year, some teams are thinking it's viable to throw any rookie QB out there as a starter. Unfortunately, for some it ruins them, like it did to David Carr. If the Jets lose their coach and start building around Sanchez next year, he may have a chance. If Rex Ryan stays next year, Sanchez might as well kiss his career goodbye.
Pete Carroll got a lot of heat in LA when he said Sanchez came out a year early. Most of the time a college coach won't criticize a consensus first round pick for declaring early. Among other things, it hurts recruiting. Then when Sanchez got a $50 mil contract and the Jets were 3-0, people thought Carroll looked pretty stupid.
