LOL...he scored as a RETURNER not a receiver. And in the past, half the time he's done a poor job of that too. But I would keep him back there, since there's a chance he could break one.
Ginn did incredibly well with the opportunities he had. Early in the game, when Feeley was lighting him up pretty good, I was thinking he would lose even this opportunity.
Fantastic job, Ginn, of capitalizing on your opportunities and making a case for more touches.
Henne needs to get his receivers, and take them out in the field, every day, all day and do nothing but work with them. They're lacking execution and BOTH Henne and his receivers need the work. It can only help. That's what Brady did. Think that kind of chemistry just comes all by itself? It doesn't.

If he can return a kickoff or punt for a TD each game, then he's well worth a #9 pick. Hey, I can dream

Excuse me child but how many catches did he have today as a receiver? He still sucks as a receiver until proven otherwise. He has always been a good kick returner. I don't think anybody has argued that. Dude are you on LSD? One game does not make you a great player. Great we won I am as happy as anyone but really? Put the pipe down so you can think clearly
Because every player makes mistakes Bess has sure hands and good route running we don't have 3yrs of bs from him and he was not drafted in the first round. I am going to assume you guys now defending Ginn are much too smart to have this explained to you.
The long bomb from Henne to Ginn in the first Jets game is what Ginn is capable of IF Henne and Ginn are given the opportunity to gel by playing together. Ginn has the speed and Henne has the arm to get the ball there. They just need time to develop the chemistry. Can't do that from the bench.
ranger1, there is no need to be an ass! Every player that comes into the league deserves a chance to prove himself. 3 years is usually the norm. It has not been 3 years, it has been 2 years and 7 games. he has improved his route running, but his pass catching skills suck. That does not mean he won't be able to learn to catch better. You can pretty much throw out his first year as well, he played for 1 of the worst teams in history, with no one to throw him the ball. As long as he is wearing a Dolphins uniform, I will continue to suport him and hope he gets better. Especially at catching the ball!
There was an article out yesterday or the day before where ex Dolphins chimed in on their thoughts on Ted Ginn. Mark Duper made a very valid point. He talked about how the Dolphins' young receivers have no veteran receiver to learn from. Duper talked about how he had Nat Moore. It is a worthwhile thing to note. And with Ginn, he doesn't even have a fellow speedy receiver to compare notes with. All our other receivers don't know how to use speed because they don't have any.
samsam, I've been agreeing with that sentiment for the first two years of his development, but at some point you have to say "Just catch the damn ball."
From what I've seen of Ginn, I think he could be a solid #1 WR if he'd just hold on to the ball.

Yes its really frustrating.

IMO the sky is the limit for ted ginn. Hoping he finnallty develops
as a wide receiver once and for all.
"From what I've seen of Ginn, I think he could be a solid #1 WR if he'd just hold on to the ball."
- True, but with his speed, and explosiveness he could be an incredible #2 'speed threat' going deep and as a return specialist...
I may be the only one here to think so, but Ginn could be a great #2, Bess is our #3, Hartline/Turner need to mature while they spell our #2/#3 receivers for now. Whats STILL missing is the prototypical 6'4" 220 lb #1 WR... Hopefully those 2 mentioned will develop into players given their size...
