LOL...he scored as a RETURNER not a receiver. And in the past, half the time he's done a poor job of that too. But I would keep him back there, since there's a chance he could break one.

Ginn did incredibly well with the opportunities he had. Early in the game, when Feeley was lighting him up pretty good, I was thinking he would lose even this opportunity.

Fantastic job, Ginn, of capitalizing on your opportunities and making a case for more touches.

Yeah, Bess was off today.

Henne needs to get his receivers, and take them out in the field, every day, all day and do nothing but work with them. They're lacking execution and BOTH Henne and his receivers need the work. It can only help. That's what Brady did. Think that kind of chemistry just comes all by itself? It doesn't.

Yeah, he has. If that doesn't merit forgiveness for the drops in the Colts game, I don't know what does.

Well, drafting him to return kicks? Good idea Cam!!! Too bad no one has really given him the chance since you drafted him!

I'll forgive him. let's just not be exepcting him to be a #1 or #2 receiver or him to ever live up to the #9 pick

while i agree the #9 is a little much to live up to, don't you all realize how many busts there have been in the top 10...

If he can return a kickoff or punt for a TD each game, then he's well worth a #9 pick. Hey, I can dream drinking smiley

I told you he would play better today. Because he's embarrassed and was benched.

But he's a bust.

What I'm surprised at though, is that more of the receivers haven't had a better day.

I think the best thing out of Ginn's performance today, and for the Dolphins in general, is his trade value just stabilizied / increased.

If he can have a few more return TDs this year, even better for his trade value.

Excuse me child but how many catches did he have today as a receiver? He still sucks as a receiver until proven otherwise. He has always been a good kick returner. I don't think anybody has argued that. Dude are you on LSD? One game does not make you a great player. Great we won I am as happy as anyone but really? Put the pipe down so you can think clearly

Because every player makes mistakes Bess has sure hands and good route running we don't have 3yrs of bs from him and he was not drafted in the first round. I am going to assume you guys now defending Ginn are much too smart to have this explained to you.

The long bomb from Henne to Ginn in the first Jets game is what Ginn is capable of IF Henne and Ginn are given the opportunity to gel by playing together. Ginn has the speed and Henne has the arm to get the ball there. They just need time to develop the chemistry. Can't do that from the bench.

Since this is the tedd ginn show.........And some are saying he is a crappy receiver.........I will say this.....

Remember jerry rices first year......He had a case of the dropsies he sucked....Yet became the greatest of alltime.

Its only teds third year. do not give up on him yet.

He has more than enough time to learn how to run routes and catch...

You can't teach speed but you can teach how to run routes and catch the ball. Ted is just a kid give him time.

ranger1, there is no need to be an ass! Every player that comes into the league deserves a chance to prove himself. 3 years is usually the norm. It has not been 3 years, it has been 2 years and 7 games. he has improved his route running, but his pass catching skills suck. That does not mean he won't be able to learn to catch better. You can pretty much throw out his first year as well, he played for 1 of the worst teams in history, with no one to throw him the ball. As long as he is wearing a Dolphins uniform, I will continue to suport him and hope he gets better. Especially at catching the ball!

There was an article out yesterday or the day before where ex Dolphins chimed in on their thoughts on Ted Ginn. Mark Duper made a very valid point. He talked about how the Dolphins' young receivers have no veteran receiver to learn from. Duper talked about how he had Nat Moore. It is a worthwhile thing to note. And with Ginn, he doesn't even have a fellow speedy receiver to compare notes with. All our other receivers don't know how to use speed because they don't have any.

HE simply WON this game for us. BIG TIME players have that ability to step up and put a ballgame on their shoulders.

I have officially let him off of the INDY-drop HOOK! He should be returning PUNTS too.

I blame GINN for the Bess fumble tongue sticking out smiley grinning smiley

The Ginn Giveth and The Ginn Taketh Away. I still don't trust him as a receiver.

That says it all!!!!!

samsam, I've been agreeing with that sentiment for the first two years of his development, but at some point you have to say "Just catch the damn ball."

From what I've seen of Ginn, I think he could be a solid #1 WR if he'd just hold on to the ball.

You got it backwards. The childish statement were made out of context to events. Most posters have issues with Ginn's receiving skills.

Then out comes hater comments, and backpeddling insinuations that had no relevance to what people said no to what happened Sunday.

I Ginn had come in the game and took receptions to house they would have been in context.

Yes its really frustrating.

IMO the sky is the limit for ted ginn. Hoping he finnallty develops
as a wide receiver once and for all.

"From what I've seen of Ginn, I think he could be a solid #1 WR if he'd just hold on to the ball."

- True, but with his speed, and explosiveness he could be an incredible #2 'speed threat' going deep and as a return specialist...

I may be the only one here to think so, but Ginn could be a great #2, Bess is our #3, Hartline/Turner need to mature while they spell our #2/#3 receivers for now. Whats STILL missing is the prototypical 6'4" 220 lb #1 WR... Hopefully those 2 mentioned will develop into players given their size...
