Good weekend for the Fins....we move that much closer to playoff status!
Our work will be cut out for us this week, as the Drew Brees show pulls into town.
IF we can control the clock, I think we have a great chance, because the Giants scored 27 on that defence today and I believe our offence is much better than the Giants.
It will be a shoot-out offensively, but we'll keep it from getting too crazy by controlling the clock. The Saints will get their points. As long as Gibril Wilson is a starter they'll get their points.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Sparano play with the corners again and put Davis in in place of either Smith or Allen. It worked against Buffalo.
Regardless, if we don't tackle well, be prepared for some LONG gains by the Saints. Thankfully, I think our offense is good enough to play toe-to-toe with anyone in the NFL. We're not as dynamic as some more pass-happy teams, but our running game more than makes up for that!
I am very hopeful we can get a win. We have to play smart on D. And our offense needs to continue to improve with Henne at helm. We will have had 2 weeks to prepare for them. Blitzes need to be aplenty and right up the middle.

Good point! That's actually something Crowder does well, maybe better than Zach did! It probably comes from the fact that he played OLB in the 4-3, so he got to rush the passer more than Zach.

Are you nuts? the guy has 1.5 sacks in 4 years. he's terrible at it, and Zach was great at it
