Date: October 13, 2009 04:52AM He did exactly what he needed to do - he made the most of his opportunities. I think he caught both throws where he was targeted. Both were difficult in their own right.
I, too, want to see consistency from Ginn, but last night he did exactly what he needed to...I couldn't have asked for him to do anything more with the opportunities he had. Re: I TOLD YA!!!

- Ginn kept his focus, and Henne put it right on the money. it is going to make opposing defenses respect the FINS long ball - The play I was more impressed with Ginn on was the 3rd down catch over the middle where Henne hit him again right on the money, but Ginn caught in traffic. - Easy on the I told ya ... Henne is the story ... without that arm that play wouldn't of happened. Re: I TOLD YA!!!

An interesting comment that speaks well for future confidence out of Ginn with henne throwing to him. He said, I knew that all I had to do was keep running under it that they were'nt going to catch up to me. - This means he didn't have to worry about contact. - He didn't have to worry about a last minute adjustment from a defender's hand, once he beat the guy. - Ginn is going to have to make these adjustments sometimes, but not when he is out front and henne is throwing it. Ive known all along Ted Ginn can do what he did last night. He has been doing it his entire life. He is almost always the fastest guy on the field at all times. You dont forget overnight how to do that. He just has to make the catch when it happens because he will outrun everybody. Our problem has been not having a QB that can accurately throw the deep ball.And in Penningtons case actually being able to throw a deep ball at all. Listen, we havent seen the last deep ball to Ginn. Chad Henne is the man, this will happen again.
