Wow, ok time to panic, and update the record. Ok after a solid offseason, and ALOT of great things to look forwards too, yes the Miami Dolphins looked poised to strike it big. Now after seeing what this year's team is all about, you get the overwhelming feeling of lossing. So after evaluating what my team is about, and looking at what other teams we play is about, yes the overhyped, and overjoyed Miami Thunder, was way wrong, and gave this team WAY to much cred, and will go ahead and say, 3.14 as our record this year. Its apparant we cant stop the pass, and all but 3 teams this year are realy good at the pass. Congrats Sparano you got your run defense!!!
You witnessed the best, that our offense can play, and still get our butt's kicked with a horrible pass defense mainly do to linebackers. Oh eah and bad safties, who are way over glorified. Congrats to the Jets for beating the Pats, may them or Buffalo win the div instead of the Pats this year. I know damn well we wont.
Even with all the bad math I see above me here...I do agree with the sentiments.
4 - 12 at worst, 8 - 8 at best. We see a defensive overhaul this year with a NT and ILB's being brought in and \or drafted. I think Henne takes the reigns next year. I hope to see Ginn replaced with someone who can actually catch the ball.
Sparano and Ireland really are rebuilding, but I had hoped for more this year...but miracles only happen every few years. We got ours last season.
You need to stop with the predictions! 14-2 is just as bad a prediction as 3-14! Or was that just a typo? I'm sure after next week, you'll give it another shot!
No, every team just took out the playbook for beating us, stoppin the wildcat, and doing what the Colts did on offense. And the Pats, Bills, SAN D, SAINTS, CAROLINA, TENNESEE, PITSBURG, APPARANTLY THE JETS have this ability. Now we should beat the Jags, and Bucs. Oh yeah and Houston.

Truth is I don't know what their record will be....but I do know this: today, you saw an offense that held the ball for 45 min. of a 60 min game...and lose.
You can't ask for more than that.
Where do you guys think Sparano goes from here? They still have 14 games to play. As bad as we feel, the team feels worse.
What do we do next week?
I hope someone has a good answer, because I've loved this team for 25 years and I'm tired of hoping...I want to know.
What you saw was our best offense, and we still loose. Good luck Miami, but i lost all hope tonight, as my only birthday gift was for a win, and winning it looked like, instead you stab me in the heart. Time for me to concentrate on real winning teams, like my bootcamp refresher coarse comming up. Army now that is a real team of winner's.
WHY ROOT IF NOT FOR THE SUPERBOWL? WHAT THE F.CK IS THE MATTER WITH SOME OF YOU? WHY PLAY THE GAME IF YOU DONT THINK SUPERBOWL? THIS ISNT A SOAP OPRA, THIS IS A GAME, WHERE FOR 60 MINS 104 MEN BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF EACH OTHER TO WIN. WHERE WINNING IS EVERYTHING, AND LOSSING IS FOR CHUMPS, GROW A PAIR, AND BE PISSED. WHY NOT JUST PLAY THE GAME FOR FANTASY. THATS WHAT YOU SOUND LIKE. excuse ME FOR JUST TRYING TO HAVE FAITH OF A NEW YEAR, WITH PROMISING UPSIDE.
Go tell me waiting for 20 plus year's, to get back to a superbowl feels like, then come tell me 20 years from now, with this rebuilding BS mentality, its a nice crutch, but like a rocking chair it will give you somthing to do, but is it going to get you anywhere? No it wont.
Hey Mike0...thats a good link. I wish I were as calm as the kid in the stands...but the truth is, with our tough schedule, we SHOULD be that pissed off (and I have been moreso).
I imagine under the humor, you're just as pissed off as most of us. That makes you OK in my book.
I just want these p#ssi3s to freakin' win, and play like winners. No excuses.
Go get 'em sparano. 0 and 3 isn't what we're paying for.
We REALLY need to shake it up on offense. Our defense played very well, but Peyton Manning beat us. We had a chance on offense, but we played the 2-minute-drill like we were still in training camp!!! Why were we just walking to the line-of-scrimmage as the clock was ticking? Why call so many running plays? That's not a 2-minute offense!!

What do we do next week....you sit and watch them go 3-13 this year and hope we have a good draft pick of top WR' talent.
The thing about the playoffs is that if you are in it, you can win it... ask the steelers or pats.
This year is not over by a long shot, our Offense was clicking.
Defense needs lots of work but not much different then last year at Arizona...we fixed that problem, we will fix this.
Positives-
Sean Smith continues to impress.
Pressure on Mannning was OK.
rUnning game improved 100 percent this week.
Short pass game looks good.
Wild cat has teeth again.

Got GOT to be kidding! Sure we moved the ball, but where were the points? The wildcat was clicking. The rest of the offense was taking advantage of a tired Indy defense. Unfortunately, Indy got their 2nd wind in the 4th quarter.
