That makes no sense. Why would teams want to "throw on us all day" instead of run the ball? With running you tire out the D, your QB doesn't get hurt, there's no risk of an interception. Most ridiculous statement I've heard all day.

No its not!!!!!!!!!!!

BEcause if you are having success PASSING THE BALL, why do anything else!!!!!!!!! Do you see the Saints try and grind out wins each week??? No, they can throw on any team so they keep throwing it.

If your playing a team that can't stop the pass (like the fins), keep passing. It works!!!!

our defense is good but not great. if we are going to have an offense tht is mediocre and not great, then we are going to need a great D.sort of like baltimore when they won in 2000.

Our DE's are in their 2nd year. We have a rookie CB and another that will probably start along side of him. We also have some good young OLB's waiting in the wings. What we NEED is to bolster the middle of the D. NT, ILB, Safety. I say, keep Bell, but consider replacing everyone else. Ferguson is done after this year. Maybe Soliai's the answer? Crowder needs to go, and Ayodele isn't impressing anyone. What is it about the FS position? Last year we had trouble filling it too!! Wilson is this year's Wilford, but he's actually starting!! That's our biggest weakness on D right now!
