Do you think the Phins would have benefited in game one if we had lost to Tampa?

Date: September 18, 2009 06:35AM A question to ponder. Do you think the Phins would have benefited in game one if we had lost in Tampa? I'm feeling a more serious focus in preparation this week. The FINS had in common in Pre-season against Tampa and in Game 1 against the Falcons 1. lack of focus and intensity 2. lack of Offense 3. lack of Special teams play In my opinion we played poorly enough to lose against Tampa. Yet we didn't feel the sting of a loss. your thoughts? Re: Do you think the Phins would have benefited in game one if we had lost to Tampa?

Date: September 18, 2009 07:31AM I think this is a ridiculous notion that the preseason result would have affected, in any way, the Atlanta game. Most Preseason games are won/lost in the 2nd half when the 2nd stringers and scrubs are in the game. Winning or losing may reflect on your depth, but it doesn't truly reflect on your starters.
