No, if the observations from OTA's about how good he looked and how much potential he looks like he has end up being pretty accurate, I think it will mean that we have a good young player who may turn out to be a real solid safety, but not necessarily someone who is going to immediately unseat a healthy and already pretty skilled player in Gibril Wilson. My guess is that if he is that good, he'll get plenty of playing time. They'll put him in the rotation in a number of different packages, but he'll continue to learn about the position from Wilson (and perhaps Bell) while playing behind them instead of in front of them on the depth chart.
Safety is probably the toughest position to play and the toughest for a young player to learn. It took Bell a few years to finally break into the starting lineup. I don't see Clemons doing it as a rookie.
