good. WR's need a lot of time to catch up to NFL speed. No setbacks at that position is a huge plus

Loved this pick from the start, and he's going to be a solid contributor. We needed him, and Penny is going to love having that new weapon. They called him the "vacume cleaner" in camp because he hauls in the ball if it's anywhere near him.

We so needed this guy.

Not paying the guy much for all the talk ... good value? or not exactly impressive enough to draw the cash.


Seems like 3rd round seems like ought to bring more than minimum if he's really impressing folks.

If a couple of receivers work out other than bess camarillo and ginn then we are in great shape. Pennington barring injury will have an even better year than last. And thats saying a lot.

His contract is slotted based on his selection... Usually the 3rd round on is about minimum, the differences are mainly in the signing bonuses.
