Chris Grier has been GM of the team since 2018 (I say 2018 because that's when Tannenbaum was given the bum's rush). I'd say 7 years is enough time for a GM to put his stamp on a team's roster. Forgetting about Mike McDaniel, let's assume Andy Reid was coaching this year's roster. How many of you think that Miami would have been a true SB contender? If you don't think they would have been, then I think we've answered the question of who needs to go for Miami to become a legitimate SB team. I think that Reid might have gotten this year's team to the playoffs... maybe.... but I still say with Eichenberg and Jones as the starting guards, among other holes in the roster, it would've been one and done. Basically, Ross has pissed away next year because Grier isn't a competent GM and he never will be. I'd say 99% of the people out there know that. Unfortunately, Ross is among the 1% who doesn't agree.
ROSS is a penis. Makes sense hes made his money ruining neighborhoods building strip malls. All he knows how to do is throw more money after things to try and fix them.buy more land , More concrete. More brick. He doesnt know shit about leading men. And either does MCD.
Can't fire the owner so I'll say Grier. And if you say McBeta then indirectly you're blaming Grier. He was entrusted with this rebuild AND hiring the coach. His first one actually stood up to him and his personnel decisions and was promptly thrown under the bus.
His second hire was brought in to "fix" Tua. He's done a fine job with that but has done a bad job coaching the entire team. And no matter the stats Tua puts up, they can never change the fact that his body isn't built for the NFL.
This is going to be yet another wasted year. Not only do they have to make wholesale changes with no cap room they're trying to get players and coaches to board the Titanic. Good luck with that sell job.
They cant motivate them. Giving them more $$$ just feeds thier egos further. Money dont motivate. Read any book on the Perfect team. They were unstoppable thanks to great coaching and a true leader of men who almost became a priest.
We are not surrounded by leaders of men. Just Rich ego driven aholes.
Sorry if I sound so negative. Its just that if I had a car that kept breaking down Id expect my mechanic to fix the issue. I wouldn't keep handing him money for a job that's not completed. That's just common sense......Something I don't think ROSS has. Its like hes never shut off being a boss.......hes never cared to read what the fans think. I don't think he cares and it shows.
If they had any sense They would use 1/2 of their picks on O linemen.3-4. And keep going until you get it right. Draft a QB not in the first round. Then....... Slide down that slide ROSS installed for the children on the team and go F yourselves because we will never win with MCd ....the complete opposite of a leader of men.
All it takes is one more concussion for Tua and I think he is done for good. I am guessing they won't be ready for that when it comes and it will be another oh sH*t season.
Apparently Tyreek is back pedaling now and swears he is staying, again as mentioned....money!
Mediocrity Dolphins formerly known as the Miami Dolphins
Dolphins need to trade Tyreek to the first interested party. Hes a cancer. A child. He showed his true colors when the going got rough. Hell he started before the first game when he disrespected a Florida state Trooper and demanded THEY be fired until the body cam footage showed what a privileged eite asshole he really was.
Maybe we can get a quality lineman with the picks. Tyreek needs to go. I think even McD is done with him. Which gives me hope for him. Maybe he does have a spine after all.
He quit on the team and said "i'm out" that day. Moreover, and I wish he were the only one on the team I could say this about, in the biggest moments of the most important games his performance has come up short on the field.
