This is a moderated phorum for the CIVILIZED discussion of the Miami Dolphins. In this phorum, there are rules and moderators to make sure you abide by the rules. The moderators for this phorum are JC and Colonel.
As the owner of this team, I am ultimately accountable for our successes and failures,” he continued. “We fell short of our expectations this season, and I understand and share in the frustration in our performance on the field.
“As we now look towards 2025, our football operation will continue to be led by Chris Grier and Mike McDaniel with my full support. Their positive working relationship is an asset to the Dolphins, and I believe in the value of stability
ALL WITH EXTENTIONS. If I didnt show up to work , failed miserably Id be fired let alone given a raise. This last season was one of the first since moving to Florida That I didnt attend a practice or a game. I havnt spent a dime , just wasting time watching them at home. Thats all I have power over is myself. I really enjoyed watching Ramsey play and thought about getting a #5 Jersey.......but I thought better. ROSS is only concerned with keeping the buisness moving. Dolphins are worth more every year, the F1 paid off... he hosted Taylor Swift, The Hurricanes pay the bills. Why change anything? Winning/ losing is our problem not his. MFer.
I wouldn't read too much into that press release, it was probably written a week ago. Remember that Ross has a history of rewarding his head coaches just before firing them. Not saying that anybody is going to get fired but, recall that "officially" Tannenbaum was promoted into oblivion. He just disappeared and was forgotten.
Tyreek is just crying because he's not the center of the team focus like he was last season with his quest for 2000 yards. This season he was mostly used as a decoy. He's a "me first" type of guy and seems to be a distraction in the locker room.
He's also butt hurt that KC hasn't missed a beat after dumping him and his contract on Miami. He probably feels like he was cheated out of a couple of extra SB rings by not staying in KC. Can't blame that on Miami as much as his own greed.
He quit on Sunday! Tyreek left in the 4th qtr and refused to finish out the game. This is a HUGE issue because McD has no control over the team. They like him but dont respect him. And the more you throw cash at them the less they will do. There is no motivation. Say what you want.. . Wilkins had " no quit" tattooed on his forehead. Calasis Campbell as well. We are stuck with his and many others huge contracts. Defense is still above aversge and i really like the new DC.
This team actually has tons of potential.....but McD is a joke. Hes been figured out and is a babysitter not a coach.
The only thing I'd add to the original post on this thread: in addition to the Hurricanes paying the bills, it's really the Opposing Fans that pay the bills (this applies to the canes too, actually). If the visiting team's fans didn't show up to JRS, you could go bowling down the aisles.
