Tua isn't playing. Huntley is in for him. Do the Dolphins have a chance? IDK.

Hmmm. Injury or re-injury to hip area. Not good for him or the team.

This team will just be spinning it's wheels until they get a REAL QB without the over-reliance on the back-up position.

I have more confidence in tua’s effort and ability over mcdbag’s play calling and team building

Lets see......4th and 1.You have a 230 pd QB with wheels......QB sneak!? Nope. Lets flip it back and try a RB. That shit needs to stop.

Thankfully I was really wrong on my score prediction this week!I think we need the Broncos to lose next week and a win over NY and we are.........drinking smiley

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

The more I watch, the more I think they need to start over. Grier has to go. His rebuild was a failure considering in year 6, we're right back to needing help to sneak into the playoffs. That wasn't supposed to be the case.

McDaniel, I thought, could be salvaged but the more he makes boneheaded calls, the more I think they need to can him too. The team lacks discipline and is soft. That's a direct reflection of the coach.

No more half measures. Clean house and reboot this with someone like Vrabel.

I am no longer on the McDaniels train as I was in the beginning. He is pure garbage, weak and under influencing to the team.

I may even go as far as calling him a fkng idiot based on what I see as of late.

My guess is McD is pretty much perfectly safe going into 2025 and may have actually strengthened his case based upon the team not falling apart with Tua gone for 4 games and competing for a playoff spot in week 17. I'm not saying I think he's anywhere near the best coach nor even necessarily the best coach available (as Vrabel was mentioned above). And, he's probably the coach most tightly tied to how the roster has been built.

I think it's Grier who needs to go after this season and that Ross would likely give the new GM a season w/McD and then the rope to rebuild thereafter if he feels like it's necessary. Grier has done far too little with the resources he himself largely made available:
- 2017 took Harris over TJ Watt
- 2019 was on board with and led out on the tank but didn't really follow thru fully. Cost us Burrow. Flores hire seems to have also cost us Minkah.
- 2020 free agency - spent a crapload and nearly all were gone after that one year. Draft could have had Jefferson instead of Jackson. Can you imagine having Burrow & Jefferson and being able to use future prime picks at other positions vs how we ended up spending them.
- 2021 draft - moved up to get Waddle when staying we could have gotten parsons, kept a 1st that was used to trade up and kept another 1st and a bunch of money used to get Chubb. Also traded up to get Eichenberg.

The dominoes really fell from the 2019 beginning. Since 2022 he's been hitched to McD and basically built a McD-specific offensive roster that can't seem to compete with top-shelf teams.

I'm not expecting a GM to be perfect but the misses are too big & too frequent.

JJ said it best:

"The enemy of greatness is mediocrity "

TUA and MCdiddy will always be just good enough to get by.......but they will never be great. Just good enough.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!
