CHRIS Shula a candidate for DC---for a few hours

Chris Shula reportedly was being interviewed for our DC opening, but the Rams put a stop to that by promoting him to their own DC position. That takes care of that, I guess.

Chris is the grandson of Don Shula and honestly I didn't even know he was coaching in the NFL. And because I didn't know he was coaching, I have no opinion on how he'd have done here. But I do know the pressure would have been immense. So in a way I'm kind of glad it wasn't a decision that our top brass had to make.

Speaking of me being out of touch with the Shula family, I also had no clue that Mike Shula was currently an offensive assistant with the Bills! That would have been VERY interesting to have Mike Shula coaching against Brian Griese in the SB, but it wasn't in the cards this year!
