"Respect" from Boston sports talk radio (not that it matters)

I want to preface this by saying I am generally dismissive of the notion of "respect" around the league.

Occasionally people will say "we need to be RESPECTED by other teams / sports writers / our opponent / around the league ) And generally, my reply is "no we don't" because I take great satisfaction when my team is underestimated and we end up winning a game or two as a result.

That said, I was surprised to hear the local (to Boston) jock-sniffers on sports radio saying how brilliant Coach McDaniel is and how out of touch/stubborn/over the hill/game passed him by coach Belicheat is. These are the same Patriot bum-kissers who (up until now) worshiped all things Patriot--the players, the team, the coaching staff all could do no wrong. But now the fan base is imploding, not only because they are calling for Belichick's ouster ( grinning smiley ) but also because they are saying how great McDaniel is...

"a brilliant young talent"
"New ideas"
"bring fresh ideas"

while Belicheat is stuck in his old ways, too stubborn, only hires assistants from his own coaching family tree.

oh and our Offense
"innovative play calling"

while that Pats offense is "old and tired". Mac Jones is rightfully inciting a mutiny.

I only intentionally listen to these stations after a Pats loss because it is entertaining. But nowadays even more so.

Keep it coming, Patsies fans! You can still root for the Phins when you head to Miami for the next game!

Even the Past fans can clearly see that past greatness was more on Brady than Billycheat. Let the grumbling begin. Show him the door before he has a chance to beat Shula's win record.

I hope so. Odds are against that happening especially with the longer season but damn I hope so.

My oldest son is a huge Celtics fan. I loved my trip to Boston. So much cleaner and well behaved then NYC. The people were very friendly......until I wore a Dolphins Jersey on one of those tours. 20 yrs of Brady and winning they probably don't know what to do with themselves now.

We can beat Buffalo. We did already last season. They havnt owned us in a while. But they will take advantage if our special teams doesn't step it up. Don't throw into triple coverage and we need to get the running game established early. We do that we are golden.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!
