Signed. A tough versatile back, but has had injury issues?

Now go draft Hall, Walker or Pierce and play Doaks!

I haven't seen too much of Edmonds since he played in Arizona, and I find his numbers ok but nothing more. I thought we had a pretty good handle on the RB position at the end of last year. Now, Duke Johnson is a free agent and I haven't heard anything about Phillip Lindsay at all lately. The guys we do have under contract didn't get the job done in the earlier part of last year, so I understand having to make changes, but I don't see this signing as doing much to shore up the position. Obviously, improving the o-line is the most important part of improving the running game, but we've got to have the horses back there also. Not sure we do right now.
Of course, they will play Doakes IF he has the talent and skills that they need. Apparently, there is some question about that.

5' 9" 205 lbs. Has some injury concerns.

Will he be dinged up come December or, able to contribute?
