Miami Lost all three starters to Covid and Liard is out with a knee injury. The only healthy Dolphins running backs on the roster are on the practice squad in Duke Johnson and Gerrid Doaks.
Well we have three things going for us......The Jets suck. Doaks is not that bad at all. Maybe a break like this is all he needs. And lastly....The Jets suck.
Ex Dolphin Lamar Miller was in for a workout to see if there was anything left in the tank. Chances are there's not much left but, wouldn't that be a feel good story if he can contribute and retire a Dolphin.
We struggled against the jets a couple weeks ago until halftime or so. We can't afford to keep on losing players for various reasons and expect to win games.
Holard is a huge part of our blitz package. He is playing way better than a rookie should.
The jets always gives us fits when we play them even though they are not a very good team. The match up against us very well. Its always been like that.
Waddle now on Covid list and may not be able to play Sunday. If the Covid spreads through the WR room then we may have a problem fielding a team.
Looks like everybody went home for Thanksgiving dinner.
Evidently the NFL has announced an adjustment to the Covid testing protocol out of concern that the season and play-offs may be in jeopardy. Evidently vaccinated players and staff will be able to return to duties after 2 consecutive negative tests without having to go through the 10 day isolation period. Previously the tests were spaced 24 hours apart but, that requirement may also have been waived. I would post a link if I could.
