Could Miami be looking to move up to number 9 from 18?

Interesting concept I've been hearing more then once about in the forums..............
It would likely cost us at least one of our #2 picks....and something next year.
There is an unusual talent pool here. I think Flores knows we have to go offense with that first pick, but hes defensive minded and wants a stud linebacker too. If he wants Micah Parsons He most likely wont last to 18. He can still get a RB at #36 if they deal #50 instead.
Its an interesting thought. . JEREMIAH OWUSU-KORAMOAH gets my vote but probably wont last to 18. Giving up #50 is expensive but might be worth it for talent like this on the defensive front.

Miami has the sixth, 18th-, 36th-, 50th-, and 81st-overall picks spread over the first three rounds. The Broncos’ ninth pick, according to the draft pick value chart, is worth 387.01 points. Miami’s 18th selection is 286.72 points. The 100.29 point difference could be made up with the 50th-overall pick, worth 115.00 points. The Broncos end up with slightly more value according to the chart, but Miami is adding two of the top ten players in the 2021 NFL........
After #36 Miami could have 3 blue chip Prospects.......
Rome wasn't built in a Day. 3 great Prospects at WR, RB, DE, LB, OL S along with the free agents would go a long way towards making us a playoff calibur team. We have multi picks the next two drafts to get us to new levels. But I have always liked the concept of more picks the better. Absolutely.
Hope they don't and it does not make financial sense. Tope ten picks make way more money then outside the top ten. Not smart business sense for the Doplhins.
Yes! Pitts will command more , And Giesicki wants a new contract, but I really believe it will make TUA what we want him to be.
But you are 100% correct... cost is and should be an issue. Some here claim....1st rounder 1st rounder! But these picks have big finicial consequences. Its why teams who pick in the Top ten consistently don't make the playoffs. They can't afford any others. Few yrs go by and they are constantly rebuilding.

Good discussions going on. Overall we wont know whats about to happen and who we will pick in any round. Only the phins management does. But its fun to read all the guesses.
