SAM........I'm not dissing Fitz.....but why can you be so positive on Fitz.....but yet remain so negative on Tannehill? Talk about a choker....Despite his long career and being on two 10-win teams, Fitzpatrick has never made the playoffs. Ever.

That Raiders game was great.....but do you remember the Miami miracle against New England and Tom Brady?

That said......I love Fitz and think he was the ultimate back up /journeyman QB. 10 million for 1 year?! This is his 3rd 1 yr.contract in a row since retirement for a total of 30 million in 3 yrs. Still never played in a playoff game despite being on 8 teams in 16 seasons.

Why do people vall fitspatrick fitsmagic and tannehill the wetfirecracker then?

Do you call tannehills pass a magic pass when he just threw a 6 yard pass and the receivers did everything else....

Now fitsmagic was magic on that last play against the raiders.

You said many times over some players just make others play great. I guess that 6 YD pass and the blocks Tannehill made were pretty magic. I dont remember a better Miami Dolphins Team ending.

Please show me where I called Marino anything? I named my oldest son after him. Hes the BEST QB to ever play the game. Without rule changes in the NFL his records never would have been broken.

I use him as the ultimate example of why this is a team sport. It takes big fat olineman who can block together with other big fat olineman together like an orchestra playing a song. One of them is out of step a defender can wreck the play. Working with those Olinemen are receiver's tightends and RB's all blocking and moving toward a common goal. One slips like that receiver did in that last game for the Titans it doesn't matter who is throwing the ball.

Funny when Tannihill does well you point out the Team , his running back as the reasons. (even though his throwing percentage is among the best in the NFL)

But when they lose you point directly to him. Completely his fault. Cant have it both ways Sam.

Its not in his pedigree to play well when it matter.

His history with the dolphins is proof of that.

That is such a silly statement. NO QB can win it all without a running game and a solid defense.

Yes he will throw a couple good passes..but when the game is 27-21 and his team is losing with 1 minute and 56 seconds on the clock in the 4th quarter.....he will not throw a td to win game. He will fail just like he did every single chance when he was here.

Every single chance....Like the Miami Miracle? Oh thats right....that wasn't him, he only threw a short pass. You make it up as you go along. If he wins it was the players....if he loses he failed.

I and many here have pointed to where he did anything BUT fail as a Phin. The Team didn't win. Rookie records and many come behind wins as a Phin. Another team saw he didn't fail as well. And he was signed to ANOTHER huge 100 million plus contract. You don't get that for failing.

Watson was 4-12 last season.....why do you want him so? Why did he get the biggest contract in the NFL?
