Besides their #8 pick, what do you think Carolina would give us for the #3? For one point of reference, in 2018, the Jets gave Indy 2 2018 2nd rounders and a 2019 2nd rounder, in addition to the #6 overall. In 2021, Carolina basically has their 1 pick per round, so maybe the #8, their 2nd round pick (#39) and a 2022 1st?
Besides 8, based on points would have to give us 39 and 73. They may want to delay 39 until next year but I would stand pat. See 6-9 pick holders a possibility for Fields or Lance
If the top RB a must take him at 18. Could take Harris and Jevonte or Etienne. Or a top Wr or Pitts and Bateman or Stevenson

Yeah Sam why? Are you saying only a Top 5 pick can be great? Think about what your saying. Several picks will fill many needs. You really need to get away from that draft day big splash mentality.
You know Sam, it's not like we've hit the nuts on players with early picks in recent years. I'd rather have more picks which gives us more of a chance to find a gem. You know, it gives the front office some wiggle room if they screw up and draft a player who should be in the CFL instead of the NFL.
Several Teams interested in moving up........ESPECIALLY if the Jets dont pick a QB at #2
#6 Pick: Eagles (if they aren’t sold on Hurts)
#7 Pick: Lions (if they aren’t sold on Goff)
#8 Pick: Panthers (if they aren’t on Bridgewater)
#9 Pick: Broncos (if they aren’t sold on Lock)
#10 Pick: Cowboys (if they don’t lock up Prescott or want a plan B in 2022)
#12 Pick: 49ers (if they aren’t sold on Garoppolo)
#15 Pick: Patriots (definitely would avoid that at all costs)
#19 Pick: Redskins have no one at QB.
#24 Pick: Pittsburgh (if looking to plan ahead for post Rothlisberger era)
If The Jets dont Pick a QB at #2.......We will be FLUSH with offers.
One of the more intriguing prospects I've been hearing about is Tight end PITTS.
Pitts is being heralded as one of the best Tight End prospects in recent memory. Pitts is 6’6” 246 pounds and was a junior last year and had 43 receptions for 770 yards, 12 touchdowns, and a 17.9 yards per catch average! He was an absolute matchup nightmare for opposing defenses. and would be a similar issue for NFL opposing defenses.
Yes, I know we have an up-and-coming TE in Mike Gesicki. However, don’t forget Miami loved utilizing their Tight Ends in the passing game last year. The trio of Gesicki, Smythe, and Shaheen, had a combined 91 receptions, 1,061 yards, and 11 touchdowns, which is production Miami has not seen at that position in decades. Having a pass-catching playmaking TE like Pitts added could arguably give the Dolphins the best TE group in the entire NFL. Also, let’s not forget that Flores was a part of the Patriots Super Bowl-winning team that tore teams apart on offense with their two-headed TE monster duo of Gronk and Hernandez. Not to mention Gronk/ Brady won this years past Championship.
Thinking out of the box will win us games. Big Tough guys like PITTS added to a big back like Harris and some more Oline work will get TUA the weapons he needs.
Miz if staying at 3 I think it will be Chase or Pitts
If trading down could be 7-9, I wouldn't want to drop farther than that and Pitts, Waddle or Kedarious Tonjey will be there so dropping down and picking up an extra 2nd and 3rd could add great value. Remember Flores came from Pats who always traded down and loaded up with picks
hearing potentially 5 QB in the top 10?
If Jets don't take Wilson or Fields I expect they would trade down
Atlanta? Needs a QB for the future
Eagles? Is Hurts their guy?
Lions ? Got a lot of picks via Stafford trade ?
Bronco's definitely in the hunt
Bronco's or Carolina could be our best partner 8-9 unless Eagles want Fields, feeling Carolina at 8 , but could be Lions at 7, they got a haul from the rams?
