Trade down with Raiders and take

Maybe we can trade down get an additional pick next year and draft .

Maybe we can move up for lawrence next year. But thats just my optimism because we will not be so bad next year.

Good point Sam.....We have 2 1#'s already next season. Get another and with a much better team......Shoot the load on #1. IF appropriate. Much rather shoot the load on a definite starter , then some project. We just might get something done on Burrows yet.

RESPONSE: It's also......not only the first time he has even let drafting a QB with our first pick of the first round come into his mind but the first time he has NOT snapped off the head of anybody else, including you or me, who has previously suggested it.

What happened?????????????

I ask not to start an argument but so I can retrieve this post months later when he says he was for drafting a QB with our first pick ALL ALONG and that he NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, suggested trading away that first pick and dropping back to the second half of the first round.

YES. with 3 #2's we could certainly beef up that Oline for Burrows. Hes the only QB besides TUA thats capable of starting and more. But hes not damaged goods.

OR we trade back and concentrate on Lawrence for next season. Lawrence is one of the most highly rated quarterback recruits ever, with multiple recruiting experts calling him a "once in a generation" type of player. He might be worth saving our pennies for.
