Draft to WIN period. If its a QB then so be it. But star QB's don't win Superbowls……....... Good TEAMS do. That's something you really need to educate yourself on.

Re: Dolphins show interest in Oregon Quarterback Justin Herbert.
That seems to be incredibly expensive for a QB who might or might not be THE guy. I'm not arguing against our need for a good QB, that just seems to be overly expensive.

LOL, Hooligan. I wish you were right. In fact, you might be kidding. Kinda hard for me to tell but I'd say we are at the looking at the draft picks time of the year.
Re: Dolphins show interest in Oregon Quarterback Justin Herbert.
Funny no one mentions his 75 yd bomb. 119.4 passing rating. 15 yds rushing. Tannehill played well for his first game back with limited weapons. Its the defense that choked.

Treasure, I was driving during the game but I looked at the stats and I don't see a 75 yard bomb.
When you put "bomb" in the sentence, it implies to most that the pass was in the air for 75 yards or maybe at least for 50 or 40 and the receiver ran for the rest. It really doesn't mean that the throw was an average long pass for say, about 25 yards and the receiver broke away and ran for the rest.
Re: Dolphins show interest in Oregon Quarterback Justin Herbert.
They were on their 25 and Caroo caught it on about the Colts 38, so it traveled in the air about 37 yards past the line of scrimmage. Tannehill was probably about 7-8 yards behind the LOS, so I guess it traveled maybe 45 yards in the air.
It wasn't a beautiful bomb that hit the receiver in stride...more of a long arcing pass that gave the receiver a chance to make a play on it, which he did...and ran the remaining 37-38 yards into the end zone. I guess I would say it was more bomb than not, but it may be semantics. It was the type of throw that Osweiler wouldn't have attempted because he doesn't have any business attempting such passes...and, at the same time, a possible indicator of the injury limiting Tannehill's ability to throw super-long (though he was being pressured and taken down a moment after release).
You may like the fact that he rolled out of the pocket away from pressure in order to make the play vs. staying in the pocket and likely taking a sack. My favorite part about the play, overall, was when Caroo crossed into the end zone :-)

If you didnt even watch it no need to comment further. Tanny aired it for a long touchdown. It was a beautiful thing. You guys cry and cry about the short passes, he gives us 7 on a great throw, you dont even see it.......yet you still bitch and moan. Its like an automatic reflex.

Re: Dolphins show interest in Oregon Quarterback Justin Herbert.
That 75 yard bomb was a bad thrown ball that was underthrown and the receiver made an incredible jump and grabbed it right from the hands of the defender.

Soooooooo...., in any case, a 36 yard bomb....not a 75 yard bomb.
Errrr... is this poor liberal arts major's math right?
Re: Dolphins show interest in Oregon Quarterback Justin Herbert.
Pretty sure it was alot longer then 36. Im not retired....i dont have the time to sit and calculate feet.....but it was a long arcing pass and most importantly.......A TOUCHDOWN. You didnt even see it.And yet you still complain.

No. I keep bringing up the fact because I FING SAW IT. It was beautiful and 74 Yds. And your making all these false claims becuase you would rather Tannehill fail then succeed.
Disgraceful.

No, child. I am looking at nfl.com, game stats and play by play and also replay and looking at the line of scrimmage and where the ball was caught and where the tackle was effectuated.
