De Ja Vu or let's hope not a harbinger

I am a fan only because of a single school year I shared as a student with Bob Griese which was 66-67.
Unfortunately lately both my Boilers and my Dolphins have been playing like each other.
Yesterday (or earlier today West Coast time), my Boilers lost a game in classic Dolphin style. First, in the final two minutes of the game, they opted to kick an extra point while ONLY POSSESSING a one-point lead and 6:41 left in the fourth quarter. That only gave them a 2 point lead whereas if they had chose and made a two point conversion, they would have LED BY THREE POINTS.
As it was, they only led by two points.
SECONDLY, even more inexplicably ....somehow a Miami Dolphin player sneaked his way onto the field dressed in a Purdue University uniform and was playing defensive tackle.
A play was called when Eastern Michigan was at about the Purdue 40 desperately hoping to get in field goal position.
The Eastern Michigan QB handed the ball off in the backfield and the runner was stopped and pinned down in the backfield. You'd have to see the film but the Eastern Michigan back is lying on the ground and this stupid defensive tackle raises him up partially and slams him into the ground in front of the ref.
TWEEETTTT! Unsportsmanlike conduct. The ball is moved into field goal range and Eastern Michigan wins.
Please Dolphins, don't BOILER UP today.
