Csonka was a ball carrier. Yes, certain plays called on him to block but in those days, the full back was not only primarily a ball carrier but was the second main component to the offense, after the QB. Yes, when Kiick carried the ball, Csonka blocked for him. And I don't remember anyone else carrying the ball much when Ajayi was in the backfield. Do you?

Csonka is one of my all time favorite Phins but he had 0% wiggle. He was a locomotive build up steam and plow you in the ground. Ajayi is a big power rb w/ little wiggle in his game. Its the results that count and Ajayi gets them.
Lol. I can't believe we are having this conversation. BESIDES the facts tgat Czonka was a 5 time pro bowler and is a HOFer......he NEVER needed to be motivated. Never. Ayjai had 1 good season with us then he got discarded and was lucky enough to go to a Superbowl caliber team. I wish him the best.....but I bet he's not even in the NFL in 3 yrs let alone the HOF.
Great coaches motivate players. Bad coaches discard promising players after less than a season and a half.Anyone that says Ajayi wasn't a promising young player is not being honest.
Then they get rid of them when they refuse to again.
Old saying: First time its on You. Second time........well.......You get traded. Just happened to be a Superbowl Caliber team . Wont take long for him to get complacent again.

Actually, I think Ajayi had four good games for us and eleven games as a decoy. His blocking was right up there with what everyone says Gesicki's blocking ability is. And, with his knees, 3 years? I wouldn't touch that bet, I think you're right. Although, you may be a little too optimistic. I didn't say it before because I didn't think it was necessary.

Perhaps you shouldn't visit this site. This guy doesn't sound particularly wise to me. Verbally disagreeing = arguing, even if short. Arguing has a negative connotation in today's society, but its usage in this context is correct. Since this site is for this purpose, you must expect that.

I stand by my post and will continue to drop in from time to time as I usually do and post as I usually do.

Maybe, but there are some others that make this only a "maybe" (John Bosa, Eric Kumerow, Jason Allen come to mind). I don't remember him bouncing off Brady (though I wouldn't argue that it didn't happen), but it amazes me that Jordan was one of the very few players that could and did successfully cover Gronk, and to prove it wasn't a fluke the first time, he did it a second time. So maybe they weren't completely wrong. Before they gave him the big bucks though, they should have checked his personal habits.
