Pat White is #6 on the team. That's an innelgible #--does that mean he can't play WR without reporting the refs every play? Why not be a # 10-19--that way he could be a QB and WR w/o having to report.
Is he not going to play WR?

Do numbers really matter anymore? I remember when WR #'s were always in the 80's. I think they're being much more flexible with numbers now. I seriously doubt the number he wears will keep him from playing a position.

wrs can only wear 10-19 and 80-89 or they need to report every play as an eligible receiver

Oh I don't know about that. Garo could throw a mean pass. tongue sticking out smiley

Anybody remember Fred Banks, who played for us a few years late 80s/early 90s? I could SWEAR that his jersey was #1, but the media guide says it was 86. Maybe he wore #1 during his first camp until he made the team.

Yeah berkeley, I must have paid too much attention to preseason during Banks' first year with us.

Anyway, Sparano has said that Pat White is going to be developed primarily as a QB, so look for him to stick with #6 or a different number from 1 to 19.
