True and we also have the element of surprise, so to speak. Teams will have an idea what to expect from Gase but it won't be based off of Miami game film because there is none. He has a reputation for adjusting his offense to suit his players so our new offense will likely have some new wrinkles in it. He is no longer controlled by a HC and will be able to do his own thing.
They will also have to learn and adjust on the fly vs our defense.
Hopefully there is some carry over to the NE game as well.
We beat Seattle when Tannehill was a rookie. They are slowly losing talent across the board. This year it was a star OLB (Irvin) and LT (Okung) and their entire offensive line is a mess. They also lost their starting RG (Sweezy) and all star RB (Lynch) as well as the center (Mack) traded to NOLA in 2015.
Look at this starting o-line....
LT Bradley Sowell
LG Justin Britt
C Patrick Lewis
RG J'Marcus Webb
RT Gary Gilliam
I'm not sure even Tom Cable can fix this bunch.
They also lost a starting DT and both of the remaining guys are suspect.
I don't see them filling all these needs in the draft and they have done little in FA. A 10-6 team last year who may struggle this year. They have these picks in the draft...26, 56, 90, 124, 171, 215 & 225
The 3 division games in a row to end the season is either going to make or break us. Win all 3, good chances we at least get a wild card. Lose all 3, no chance... Only win one probably the same... 2 out of 3 up in the air....

When you suck as bad as we have you take any break you can get. we've beaten brady plenty of times and it's week 2. What's there to prove?
