Its a risk, but the possible payoff is enormous.

I think he's much more like Charles Haley than Dion Jordan.

Maybe trade down add a 3rd. Then you can risk Gregory and still get a guard in the 3rd.

Trade down allows you to take a risk if you want.

Now have the ammo (4th and four 5ths) to move up into the 3rd for a guard.

lots of options now.

Wouldn't be surprised to see another trade down.

Darryl Gardner part deux.

I like it, don't love it.

Lots of upside. He's a beast physically. I wasn't high on him because he was easily stopped with double teams most of the time. Fortunately for him and for us...he isn't going to see many double teams playing next to Suh.

He's got that rare combo of being big and fast, and still getting stronger. Think what hurt him was the injury history, but he was still a 1st round prediction in some mocks. I like how Hickey/Tannenbaum are going BPA. Although Fisher would have been a nice pick too.

seeing a lot of good players gone now since we traded down in the 2d and took Jordan, all the ILBs, RBs, and OGs. Not sure what's left and unless we can turn all those 5ths into a 3d and take a solid player, I am not thrilled with the trade down for phillips

Still a bunch of OL left that can help us out.

Won't cost much to trade up from mid 4th to early 4th.

If we don't trade up (or down) and use all 5 picks, I'm guessing its 2 olineman, RB, CB, LB
