After Jordan's fiacso, I find it highly unlikely that we take anyone with a failed test. Even though I think Ray is smart enough to keep it clean from here on out.

I read this today and completely agree. Take players who love football combined with a great football work ethic. I would not put Ray in that category today. I would rather take Bud Dupree. He is bigger, faster and more able to be a 4-3 DE in the NFL. The rest of the top guys, I'm not so sure they hold up vs the run.

RESPONSE: How do we know???? Failbum (or Pinhead for those who prefer that term) has not played them enough.

RESPONSE: Of course, ordinarily that is the preferred method but if someone comes along that is a "beast" (as in mode) at a position of need but not URGENT need, then what do you do?

....recognizing the draft is a crap shoot at best. Everyone criticizes Jason Taylor as underweight and he becomes a monster when he plays.

Later, many, myself included, see another Jason Taylor in Dion Jordan but he is a bust.

It's always a Vegas crap shoot.

But the geniuses on this chat board will assert that there is a sure-fire right pick and sure fire wrong picks. Later, if they're wrong, they point how many other people also recommended the same thing. If they turn out to be correct, they never let you forget it.

No one knows. No one ever knows. You make reasonable choices within a range of possibilities. Even Dion Jordan was such a pick at the time....a gamble but if he had become another Jason Taylor....

But in the final analysis, You pays your money and you takes your chances.

Don't let the blowhards (the two of them at least) on this board convince you otherwise.

I can't disagree with any of that Chyren. Hope you get to see the draft live! Let's see what happens.
