Personally, for me, I don't care. Unless you're a Ricky Williams type that smokes bales of it, can't control it and fails every test. You're going to be hard pressed to find a black wide receiver out of a Florida that doesn't smoke it. As far as Matthews, I'm not surprised. He had to do something to keep up with his talented teammates. I don't like that he had to take steriods in college, and just wait until he gets to the NFL. I think he's a risk for being overmatched and being a bust. At the very least he's overhyped, just like Chris Long was. Re: OMG!! Cushing and Matthews test positive for roids.....

Date: April 04, 2009 07:25AM Teams don't care as much about performance enhancing drugs as they do mood altering drugs. It depends on the circumstance and how the drug is abused.
Charley Casserly says Luis Castillo tested positive for steroids but they gave him a pass but any player who tests positive for marijuana gets taken off the board because... 1 They have such a problem with it, the can't quit long enough to pass a well known upcoming test or... 2 They just aren't very smart for not quitting before a well known upcoming test.
