It's hard to get real excited as you guys mention after the last 10 years and being disappointed year after year.
It seems like forever ago but the reality is that it's been 10-11 bad years out of 44. Time to get back on track AND time for a change of the guard in the AFC East!
I think we can expect to see more of the 5-2 defense this week against another strong rushing team.
I think we used the hurry-up strategically last week. We didn't use it until we had a lead, I believe. Theory being we wanted to use a ball control offense to keep Brady off the field. I don't think that will be as big of an issue this week.
Last week we used the hurry up in the second half when the Pats were tired and it really seemed to work.
Bills have a ball control offense as well so we may run the hurry up to score some quick points to play with a lead and force Buffalo to pass the ball. Their weakness.
The 5-2 probably won't work well against the Jill's. I would defiantly run a big run stopping team. Let Manuel try to beat us with his average arm and average brain power.

#Dolphins rookie LB Chris McCain said he's happy to be back from his illness and wants to help the team anyway possible on Sunday.
If we want to be in playoffs then this game against a lesser team has to be a win. If we can't even beat the Jill's then there is no business for us to be playing the rest of the year. Great teams beat the teams that they are better than and this team is better than the Bills.

Agreed if we do not beat the bills then we have no bussiness going to the playoffs.
We have business in the playoffs if we make the playoffs. Division games are ALWAYS tough. Just ask Tom Brady.
I don't expect a lot even if we get in the playoffs. I just want to see improvement and see that we are on the upswing. We still need to add talent to compete with elite teams on a consistent level.
We have shown we can compete with and beat playoff teams....
2013: Indy, Cincy, SD, NE...
but you guys are right, we have to be "up" for the lesser teams as well.

Sam you keep pinning the success/failure of this team on one or two aspects (usually Tannehill being one of them), last week proves it's a total team effort either way, the team (the whole team) kept shooting itself in the foot (3 turnovers, the Def giving up a 3rd and long on a running play when we had them backed up on their own goal line, etc.) the 1st half and we were down 17-7, the team came out and played better in the 2nd half and we dominated.
RT-17 is not now or may never be a Dan Marino type of QB to carry a team by himself, he'll need a complete team around him IMO to succeed. After one game it appears we are closer to that then we were last year.....fingers crossed it continues
Sam Sam. Lots more to the game of football besides 50 yd bombs. Tannehill brings so much more to the table. He actually threw a perfect bomb to Sims that was dropped, and a sick ass corner end zone fade that the receiver screwed up by not keeping his feet in bounds. Yeah he can be better , but I'm loving the progress he's made and the future possibilities are endless.

No doubt i agree. But want us to have a dominating offense so i want him to be close to dan marino type....
I know he could never be like dan but he can get close to it. He has the arm and strengh and right character to get close to it.

Bills have one of the best defensive fronts in the NFL. Miami has a revamped offensive line.
Bills have three of the fastest WRs in the game.
Both teams have injuries at LB.
I didn't see the Bills game vs the Bears, but with Miami, there were at least four TDs left on the field (by the Miami offense). Miami has to fix that ASAP if they have any hopes of making the playoffs.
