I read the article and thought the same thing....IDIOT. Why should we make the same mistake that rookie coach, McDaniels made. Would be a huge mistake to even try.

I agree with the idea of trying to acquire Cutler; but certainly not at the price tag Cote suggests in his article.

The comments at the bottom of the article are hilarious.

McDaniel has a young QB in Cutler who was told he was the long-term answer as the Broncos QB, so of course any talk of trading him would rattle his confidence and make him question whether or not he wants to remain a Bronco. Our situation with Pennington is much different. He only has one year left on his contract and he knows for a fact that he is not our long-term answer at QB. In fact, a trade to Denver would probably be good for Pennington's career. He would be a virtual lock to start for multiple years (assuming he stays healthy) and he would receive starter's money, as opposed to backup money (albeit high end backup money) if he stays with us beyond 2009.

ETHAN SKOLNICK said it best....

"He sounds like a girlfriend who caught her boyfriend looking at another girl, and now says she can't trust him again. Save that stuff for the soap operas."
