In truth, coaches make far fewer mistakes during the game than their players. Think about all the penalties (coaches rarely, if ever, get one). How many mistakes do the players make that go unnoticed? A coach's mistake is noticed, as it either affects the outcome of the game, or is just simply very noticeable. But, even if a coach makes a mistake that causes his team to lose, the team should have, before and after that mistake, played the game to the best of their ability where it wouldn't have become that "critical" mistake.
The Saints? Sean has been coaching for quite a while and has proven himself. Philbin has only been a head coach for two seasons (and only five games into his second season).
BTW, I know many can't stand Belichick, but the way he started out, if he had been fired, who knows if he would have had the chance to be what he has become (a damn fine, winning coach). Give Philbin a chance.

Yes, we are better off than we were last season, and this team looks like it could be a contender. However, the way we play against the Ravens, win or lose, will give everyone a clear indication as to what kind of team this is.
My opinion? I think Miami has a good team that still has a ways to go. A team just doesn't knock off two playoff teams (from a year ago) and not be considered a good team.
With constant improvement, Miami will be OK this year, but they cannot get crushed by the Ravens like they did against the Saints. It could have a devastating affect on the psyche of the young players.
