I am still chuckling over the reactions of the announcers on the WQAM 560 draft broadcast. When we traded down with the Saints, they pronounced the Rosen trade possibility as done. Minutes later, I heard Ian Rappaport say that the trade was now almost certainly likely to happen, and I was sure that he was right. The 48th pick was too high for Rosen, but the 62nd pick, for us, was almost a third but the Cards could still say that they got a second, and not have too much egg on their faces. On the TV, I watched as the Dolphins logo on the big board changed to a Cardinals logo, just as I (and Rappaport) expected. The WQAM clowns went silent, then just kind of denied that it could possibly be real for a while. Then they started to say that they REALLY kind of liked Rosen all along. So, regardless of whether you like Josh Rosen or not, they truly made fools of themselves. Hilarious.
**Edit: I added an "s" to "fools" because there were three of them.**

ADAM GASE HAD BIG ISSUES WITH JOSH ROSEN. Thats was why when he interviewed with the Cardinals he didnt go.
"In the lead up to the draft, it became known that Gase in fact had issues with Rosen."
“He didn’t like Rosen’s attitude.”“Felt he (Rosen) was someone who was a bit entitled.”
The DOLPHINS were NOT going to take Josh Rosen. Not the Tannebaum/Gase version anyway.
But the Grier /Flores version seems to be all about him.
He cost us a low 2nd rounder and will only cost us $6 Million over the next 3 yrs so I guess we will find out if hes just a place holder or the future.
Either way You were wrong once again. in 2018 Miami has NO interest in him. None. NaDa. Zero%.
You got your QB from the best draft ever. Lets see what hes got.

What do you care what he thinks? He likes the guy because he's from UCLA.
I'm not sure we had NO interest in Rosen last year, the reports are contradictory, and the fact that Gase didn't like his attitude is, I think, a favorable thing for him.
From what I've read from Cards fans, they didn't think Rosen got a fair shake there, and they were impressed by his mental and physical toughness. If he gets to play here this year, and we can keep him alive, maybe we can find out if this guy has IT. This is his second year in the league, and he should start to show IT if he has it. If not- bring on the QB's from next year's draft!
Your coming in at 12AM on a conversation that started the day before at 6AM.
Your right I dont care what he thinks. It's the other way around . Josh Rosen was passed on by Miami last year. Arizona thought like everyone else we were hot for him and jumped up.
I have so many links to prove that.
That said.....after his disastrous rookie season , and being shown the door after 1 season,
His ceiling potential could be amazing if they surround him with the people he needs to be successful. SOUND FAMILIAR?

RESPONSE TO TREASURE: You can either believe that or the more COMMON SENSE fact that IN 2018 we were drafting at 11 and Arizona traded with the number 10 team to take Rosen at number 10. If you know anything about even common sense, you know that there is no other reason for them to do that (instead of, for example, trading with a team who drafted after Miami which they didn't and paying less for the same choice) EXCEPT THAT THEY THOUGHT MIAMI WOULD TAKE HIM.
MOREOVER, the fact that they came to MIAMI with this deal AGAIN shows that they pretty much thought MIAMI would WANTED HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE AND WOULD still want him.

RESPONSE TO TREASURE: First, I pointed that out because I saw him perform since I am in the Los Angeles area, secondly, I did it because Treasure is prejudiced against all of California.
RICK SAID:

And to the point of prejudice against Californians, Treasure.
My background was born and raised in Western Oklahoma until I conned my teacher father into letting me spend my senior year in L.A. (Watts to be specific) to graduate from a High School there since the school he taught at which was also the one wherein I had attended from the first grade through the eleventh grade was closing due to desegregation.
After graduating from that High School in L.A., I went to Harvard for summer session only. After that I spent my freshman year in INDIANA at Purdue (which was the seeds of me being a Dolphin fan because that was Bob Griese's senior year).
But an interesting thing happened at Purdue. In the dorm I lived in was a Welsh kid student named Paul Driver who was also a freshman from Boston. When he found out about me having been in the Boston area, he was my instant buddy. He used to serve the food at the cafeteria in the dorm. Whenever I passed through the line, he winked at me and put an extra helping on my plate.
There was also an adjoining dorm wherein I found out that there was another dark haired kid from Boston. Funny how I can't remember his name but it ended in "ieri.' Of course, I made friends with him too. But you know how you have two separate friends from separate settings?
Well, on Saturdays, food for both dorms were only served in my dorm, which was the bigger dorm. I was in line with the Italian kid and when Paul saw me he beamed and put an extra heaping on my plate.
Then when it was time for my other friend to be served Paul Driver looked at him and said, "What do you want, Wop?" I had no ideal what that meant. All I know is that my other friend looked so pained and hurt.
Later, I talked to my fellow Black dorm mates from Chicago, Indianapolis and Gary and told them and asked them what did Wop mean. They said that calling an Italian a Wop was like calling us the N word.
I never had ANYTHING to do with Paul Driver again!
The point is that prejudice points in many directions, Treasure.
And you've been saying for a year, Treasure, that we never had any interest in Rosen in April of 2018. Too bad the "search" function is temporarily down otherwise I'd prove it to you.

None whats so ever. Whats the matter is the search on the rest of the internet not working?
Josh Rosen stock could be dropping. Why? And what will the Miami Dolphins do about it?
"So what's the issue? Why would Rosen, at 6-4 and 226 pounds and with a good arm and great intelligence, drop to No. 11 and possibly lower?"
"If it happens it would be because teams are concerned about his durability.
Rosen played only six games in 2016 because he had a shoulder injury.
He played in 11 games in 2017 but the finish was not good and the reason some NFL teams are concerned."
FACT: Former Miami Dolphins coach Adam Gase, a quarterback specialist with head coaching experience PASSED on the head coaching job with Arizona BECAUSE of Josh Rosen. He dislikes the kid that much. And ultimately Chose NY because he believes in Sam Darnold.
Whats changed with the Miami Dolphins? GASE IS NO LONGER THE COACH HERE. So....The new coach is more open to him being a starting QB here.
You will never admit it. Chyrene. Its not how your brain works. But keep it up and I will make you look stupid everytime. (not my choice ......ultimately yours.)
I hope Josh Rosen can prove them wrong. I'd Love to stick it in Adam Gases ass much more then yours so I'm now a Josh Rosen fan.
First, Treasure, the NOT EINSTEIN, when I referred to the "search function on this board" it was to bring back your statements ON THIS CHATBOARD in 2011 about HOW IN YOUR OPINION THE DOLPHINS NEVER INTENDED TO DRAFT ROSEN although as I told you IF WE DIDN'T HAVE THAT DESIRE, THE CARDINALS WOULDN'T HAVE TRADED UP UP UP (dummy) into the spot right above US in 2018. The internet would not help bringing back former posts ON THIS BOARD, Dummy (as Fred Sanford says).
Second 'DROP TO 11?' IN THE 2018 DRAFT? You have a simple way of looking at things in your mind. That's why it's called Simple minded.
Baker Mayfield went first, a couple of other QBs went between him and number 10 when the Cardinals traded up to snatch Rosen.
Yet in your simple mind, you call it dropping.
LOL. Dropping to number 10 overall in the first round. LOL.
You're the one looking stupid, Treasure. Just things like that. He dropped to the 10th pick in the NFL. Even with other QBs like Mayfield and Darnold out there. According to you, that was disgraceful. Dropping to number 10. LOL. LOL.

You know, I get really tired of reading posts where you and your lapdog yell and use personal insults to hijack potentially interesting threads and to insult anybody that doesn't agree with you. Most of us are here to see why other fans agree or disagree with our own opinions.
As I said before, dolphan4545, otherwise known as Rick and I have been enemies since the 2009 when you first came on the board.
In those great days in which there were great posters such as Aqua & Orange and Fiedlerhater, you were the only dip.
I scorched you so bad that you semi left the board only to return occasionally like now when I'm in the heat of a battle to throw your two cents (which is equivalent to your brains) into the conversation against my position and in favor of WHOEVER against whom I am arguing. I'd take no great pleasure in his wanting to ally, Treasure.
The "heat" comment was more of a figure of speech to characterize the level of intensity of interest and difference of opinion as to you and I and the issues, Treasure.
The real heat in terms of hatred comes in with respect to myself and dolphan4545, aka rick.
