Mike Clay of PFF, the head fantasy guy ( Tannehill or Lamar Miller)
Said yesterday that he believes Ryan Tannehill will be a top ten fantasy QB this year... Said he will be the best QB sleeper of the year... He also said that he believes Lamar Miller, will not be the stud everyone thinks he will be... He said his only game after game 3 that he did anything in was against Buffalo. Who had one of the worst run defenses in the NFL.. He said Bush, who was beat up in that game, still had over a 100 receiving and rushing yards combined and 3 TD's... He says Lamar Miller never showed any real running skills against a team that wasnt horrible in run defense passed game 3.
Not sure if I agree that Miller will be a dud, but it was interesting and accurate based on his stats last year... Not sure if I agree Tannehill will be a top ten fantasy QB but it is nice to hear this PFF fantasy guru is pushing for it publicly...
On Tannehill, where would you guys draft him this year in your fantasy teams? ....would you draft and rank him as top ten QB to start for your team in a cash league this year?

Tanny is a late round back up QB, too many other proven guys to risk it. I'd take Miller as a real late 2nd RB or early 3rd RB maybe in the 6th or 7th rnds.

I have lived by that rule for 20 years. It goes back to when I drafted Marino the year he blew out his Achilles.
Re: Mike Clay of PFF, the head fantasy guy ( Tannehill or Lamar Miller)
A very small number of Miami players are worth drafting every year:
2012: Bush
2011: Bush and Marshall
2010: Maybe Marshall
2009: Ricky
2008: Maybe Brown
2006-2007: Nothing
2005: Chambers
2004: Nothing
2002 and 2003: Ricky
2001: Nothing
2000: Lamar Smith
Even the late 90's were slim. Marino's last great fantasy year was 94.
