That's why I decided to forgo the live viewing of that "contest", and spent the day with my daughter in LA. Had a late breakfast, took in a flea market, and relaxed and enjoyed a beautiful 72 degree day.
I think we all knew that the 7-4 record was just wolf's clothing. Or more accurately, just the result of a favorable last place schedule.
To be honest, we should have(or could have very easily) lost to the Browns, Jets, Chargers,Rams, and 49ers. And they all SUCK!!
So when the Ravens game came around, a team that has traditionally owned the phins, I decided for the good of my blood pressure, my remote control, and my sanity, this would be a good game to miss(I still recorded it).
Just too bad I don't own a farm. Because I would have bet it that the Ravens were gonna roll the Phins. Called it!
And I'll go double or nothing that AZ drops an L on us next week too.
Don't think Bruce Arias isnt licking his chops to exploit our weak-ass LBs and secondary.
I think a day of fishing might be on the agenda for next Sunday.
Serenity now....serenity now...
I had a great time the last 6 games. Been a long time since I had that kinda fun with my boys and dad. Dancing in front on the TV on touchdowns , touchdown spikes with couch cushions, right arm first downs signs........I didn't expect to win it all. Just wanted to have fun again.
I see a vast improvement with coach Gase. I'm looking forward to the future again.

I'm reserving judgment on whether Gase is a vast improvement because if Miami loses out, 7-9 & collapsing late in the year is just more of the same. If they get to 10 wins (even 9 would be somewhat decent) I'll be on board. Losing the next 4 games would be exactly what this team has given it's fan base for umpteen years. Even Philbin had the team at 8 wins needing one win out of the final 2 games of the year to qualify for the playoffs and lost them both. In the absence of a finish to the season that shows me this team has taken a step in the right direction, I remain a skeptic.

Seinfeld Meh...it was okay. Take it or leave it. I saw a few episodes, they were fine. Had no problem with the show, but didn't go out of my way to watch it.
If I were to google Serenity I'm pretty sure a bunch of adult diaper ads would show up. No thanks.

You must be a "non-laugher". And I'm betting a "close-talker" as well.
