More than one local online news site had the words "Brady" and "Injured" in the headline.

Then in the fine print, the extend of the injury is revealed:

He cut his finger with a pair of scissors.

Our team in its heyday had guys playing with casts on both arms, metal rods sticking out of their radius bones (Keuchenberg), multiple broken noses (Csonka) etc. It was noted in the media at the time, and nobody gave it too much thought, other than 'yeah our guys are tough.'

Pretty-boy Brady gets a hangnail and they act like the sky is falling around here. This is just one of the many reasons why the game of pro football is on the decline.


I think they're all still in denial that he's sitting out the first four games. Well at least he can heal up from this "injury" in the meantime.
