Well, it took three years of ignoring the obvious before philbin was finally nudged out the back door. That alone eases some of the pain of this wasted season.

I have no doubt that he was probably terrible. That's our history.

But watch him go somewhere else and become a superstar.....that's also our history.

Pick # 8: QB Jared Goff

School: University of California

2015 stats: 4,719 yards, 43 touchdowns, 13 interceptions

Analysis: This is a major wild card for the Dolphins, but it’s something they must be prepared for. Five of the seven teams ahead of Miami -- Tennessee Titans, San Diego Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars -- have their quarterbacks in place and likely will not take that position. What if a top quarterback prospect like Goff falls in Miami’s lap at No. 8? It’s not often that the Dolphins are in position to draft a potential franchise quarterback. Yes, they are financially committed to Tannehill, 27, for the next year or two. But I wouldn’t be against drafting a quarterback with a high ceiling to be groomed for the future in the event Tannehill doesn’t get much better.

Agree or disagree with this?

We'll most likely draft an OG coming off major surgery.

I think project BIG is due for a comeback.

But hey -- we have needs at every position.

Tho I think our punter is solid.

And our kicker kicks the ball pretty good.

Cutting Fox shows that maybe they don't...maybe the new coaches are seeing what we've all seen for the past two seasons.

Not saying that he didn't stink for us, SamSam, but even if he did, he could go somewhere else and perform greatly.

FOX and Dallas Thomas have been creating havoc for Ryan Tannehill. If they aren't missing blocks they are creating 3rd and long situations on penalties. The only reason they played at all was because they literally had no one else. God awful. Jason Fox MIGHT get picked up somewhere but he wont make it past training camp next season. Guarantee he is out of football next season , he better have invested well and got a decent education.

I hear what your saying Chyrene, lots of players go elsewhere , but this guy ain't like the others.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

I highly doubt any of the new coaches have had a chance to do any film study in th elast 4 days. Gase has been trying to find a staff. This was Chris Grier.

He has been sitting back and watching the madness for 15 years. Hopefully he has a clue and has been fighting most of these moronic acquisitions over the course of that time. I have my doubts though as....why would he stay on that long, if he saw the dysfunction?

Thats what i mean....He aint like the others.....Like for example
Vontae davis or sean smith...These 2 had potential...I didnt consider them bad players at all.

Fox is a lost cause. I consider him a bad player...

What TCPF said.....fox made the life of tannehill terrible.>Quote: FOX and Dallas Thomas have been creating havoc for Ryan Tannehill.

What I'm saying is that maybe it's not our players at all, SamSam, but our coaching.

I know we try to force Tanny into something that he's not.

The idiots that coach and run us see football played in one manner only and refuse to see that there can be variations on the play and variations on talent, whether oline, dline, secondary or offense.

Whether we have a Failbum or a Sparano, we seemed to try to force the players in a mold.

Shula went from a strategical, precision, Genius Griese to a passing phenomena like Marino.

Failbum would have had Marino just handing off the ball because that's what Griese used to do with Csonka and Kiick.

Maybe the ones in charge a making the decision will not pick a player whos coming off krutches.

Im sick of drafting players who are coming off injuries.
