Give Tannehill one more series- if he STILL can't get it done, PULL Tannehill and try Moore. The offense is putting too much pressure on the defense and giving the game away - just like last week. We need to make a change.
Either that or give up on the season. Like I said, Ryan Tannehill, a naturally talented read option quarterback is not competent to run a traditional offense team in the NFL.
Like I said, a square peg can't fit into a round hole so if you don't want to find a square HOLE to fit it in, then you have to find a round peg, and that is Matt Moore.
In fairness to Douglas, he's never played center before. The real boneheaded move was to cut Brenner who at least has played center with no one on the roster who could step in and play competently should Pouncey go down. Once again, the personnel decisions made by the brainless front office are indefensible. Ross should fire someone just for the fact that they had no viable option if Pouncey was hurt. But he won't because he doesn't base his employment decisions on competence, he makes them based on who kisses his ass the most. Tannenbaum reportedly has chapped lips already this season.
Matt Moore is a known qty. thinking he is the answer for this team is...well let's say misguided. That said thinking Henne...er...I mean Tannehill is the answer for this teamis no different. 'Well, WHO would you get???!!?' is asked a lot. Lol, based on today, maybe we should have been pursuing Fitz. Saying his O line is much better than ours is loopy. However, he stepped up in the pocket, scrambled, avoided rushers and scored 35 pts. Watching Henne...er...Tannehill today I saw how often he was sacked or harassed into bad decisions by ONE RUSHER. I'm sorry, if you think you're going to be a successful NFL QB and can't be asked to sidestep, scramble away from or otherwise avoid ONE RUSHER...well you're dreaming. Tannehill is A whiff. Period. That doesn't mean you throw up you're hands and quit trying.
"Matt Moore is a known qty. thinking he is the answer for this team is...well let's say misguided"
Why? Because we know that he can win? So if we know it, why not let him? He isn't the long-term solution, but maybe he can win us a few THIS year. Or, do you think it's better to lose with Ryan for a better draft position?
"That doesn't mean you throw up you're hands and quit trying."
I'm not against starting him. But bro, he is what he is...a backup. He will win a few games because he's different (like Campbell did) but he's been around, he has limitations just like Hennehill does. I guess my point was we need to keep looking and make that our priority instead or spending EVERY FRICKIN PICK on OLine and DB thinking that will fix our mediocre QB.

Huizenga kept the old Logo and just updated it. He brought us Zach Thomas. JT and insisted on keeping Marino until he was done. He renamed the stadium "Marino Ave". I have some good memories of winning in the 90's with Huizenga. But Ross......I cant think of a single decision I like.

Huizenga vs. Ross, no comparison. Hui might not have been great but Ross is absolutely the worst owner in history.
Our Oline wasnt great to start. Today the only starter was Albert who is still not 100%. A center who cant snap the ball 3 yds, how I ask you how will Moore do any better? Laughable. Tanny needs to improve , make better decisions, but no QB in the NFL would do any better under these conditions.

I agree with this in concept, but with Tannenbaum picking the new coach and making the draft picks, our draft position won't mean squat. The problems with this organization run so deep that only a complete purge will be a potential cure. Ross won't do that. He hires friends and sycophants with no thought to competence and past successes. That's how a guy like Tannenbaum gets rewarded for being run out of NY for his incompetence.
