NFL Coaching Experience: This will be Bullen’s first foray into professional coaching after five years working on the collegiate level.
College Coaching Experience: After spending time as a volunteer assistant coach at Iowa City High School in 2006, Bullen moved on to the University of Iowa, where he spent two seasons as a student assistant while he completed work on his bachelor’s degree. Bullen then became a graduate assistant for the Hawkeyes, and he spent the last three years helping out with the Iowa defense.

True, the more I read and look at it, The staff Philbin set up has been pretty poor...based on almost everything except past or potential future performance. Another fault with these 'system guys' the staff is little more than a cabal of "good ol' boys" who 'fit the system'.
I sure hope Mr Ross has gotten comfortable firing coaches and get these guys out of here at the end of the year. Even if Campbell is retained he should be allowed to build his own coaching staff.

Not if they have relatively cushy, well-paying jobs in broadcasting.
Governors are said to make good Presidents because of the similarity of the job, but obviously multiply it by a big #.
What, no who, ....what coaching position morphs into a quality HC? Just going by stats.
Maybe I worded that poorly: In baseball, catchers make good managers because many of them, based on baseball intelligence, have been calling the pitches, which then allows the captain of the defense, very often the short stop, to set the positioning of the outfielders, & more. "Baseball is just too slow." Appears that way on TV. Anyway!!
