Don't feel bad for him, he got work on the Walking Dead as a walker, the executive producers said he was perfect for the part, they said they have never seen anyone so uninspired and lifeless during a walker audition they knew he was a natural.

I don't know if many of you remember but philbin's 21 year old son died just before he took the head coaching job. I can't imagine the pain of losing my child. I wonder if he was going through the motions of life and lost some of his passion.

Joe Philbin was given plenty of opportunity to lead this franchise despite never having a HC position any time in his coaching career. Ross put his money on this fellow knowing his background and personal loss. Sometimes the best intentions fails because the chemistry isn't right. That's what happened in Miami for him.

He failed here. Change was necessary to save the season and possibly the franchise from becoming a total laughing stock.

I wish Joe Philbin well, I'm sure he is a very nice guy--probably a good guy, but he didn't have what it takes to motivate this team, to do what was necessary to make them hungry to win.

Dan Campbell is a breath of fresh air and I hope his efforts continue to inspire the players and the fans (and Mr. Ross).

I'm sorry but if that's the case he should have taken time off to get his affairs in order. There isn't any room for excuses in the nfl.

I was always puzzled at how sparano used to be a OL coach yet he couldn't build a decent Oline here.

All he did was keep signing dallas reject Olinemen.

Not that I miss him, but Wanny actually had a higher winning % than any coach since Shula(.575) (excepting guys who have coached 2-3 games as interim) AND led us to a div title. Sadly he was infected with the same 'system' mentality that plagued JJ.

Chren cam cameron couldnt even give a speech right. He sounded lost and without a clue.

Cam Cameron for me is the worst dolphins Head Coach Ever.

Wanny was a mediocre coach with a great team. The defense (Jim Bates) and Ricky Williams carried that team. Wanny was just along for the ride, which is why he had no solutions when it started to fall apart.

Williams wasn't on either of Wanny's playoff teams. 2000 and 2001 featured Lamar Smith who ran for 1000 yards both years I think. Again not calling him a great or even good coach but a case could be made he's been the best of a bunch of bad Apples...two playoff appearances in 4 years, division title, playoff win, etc...
