Cameron Wake was outstanding again, against the texans. He's healthy and so he's playing great right now. He was PFF's highest rated 4-3 defensive end this week after collecting two sacks to go with the four he had against Tennessee.

This will be the main ingredient to beating the patriots this thursday night.

If he dominates against an injured weak pats OL, then we will have a shot to beat New England in the 4th quarter.

Expect a close game.

My score prediction because i'am a homer:

Miami 34
Pats 27

GO MIAMI.

I believe he's only a half sack out of the lead in sack totals. Olivier Vernon was quiet. I wonder if he's gun shy after the fine and wrist slap.

The phins are going to have a coming out party thursday night.

Sure the pats are the defending champs and undefeated but they've gotten they typical luck with scheduling. Pitt without Bell, Bryant and Pouncy and the Cowboys without Romo or Bryant.

They get a rejuvenated phins team that's going to keep punching the entire game.

Phins 34
Pats 20

Wake and the D are dominating because they are finally using him correctly....as a pass rush specialist with Shelby playing the run. He is aging and struggles vs the run. Finally some common sense by our coaching staff. Keep his old legs fresh.

If they can get any of the other D-linemen to finally do something one on one, this line will be scary.

They were working out DT's today. Jerrell Worthy and 3 or 4 others.

I don't think that O. Vernon is anything more than average. He had a semi decent year 2 seasons ago, but in no way is even close to Cam status. He should be dominating given the attention that goes to Suh and Cam. Plus, this is a contract year for him, you'd think he'd be super motivated. I'm not sure we wouldn't be better off starting Shelby or Fede in his place.

In his defense, he has faced some pretty good LT's this year. I thought he would be better but....he had a good game vs Tennessee.

Trent Williams, Cordy Glenn, Brick Ferguson, Taylor Lewan, Duane Brown...

I'm more concerned about our other DT's....never did think too much of Mitchell. Phillips is young but Mosley is not playing as well as he did last year next to Suh. Maybe give Francis some snaps if he is finally healthy.
