There WERE some decent QBs on that list:

Jay Fiedler - good when healthy, but shoulder injury ended his career.

Damon Huard - Marino's choice to replace him. We didn't give him a chance.

Ray Lucas - next...

Brian Griese - A nostalgic signing, but couldn't survive behind our paper mache offensive line.

Trent Green - made of glass

A.J. Feeley - worst trade in franchise history

Sage Rosenfels - ugh!

Gus Frerotte - best QB we've had since Marino, but on the down turn of his career.

Joey Harrington - bust retread

Daunte Culpepper - "look at my knee!!" dumbass

Cleo Lemon - Oy!

John Beck - waste of a 2nd round pick

Chad Pennington - great mind, noodle arm, injury prone.

Chad Henne - robot

Tyler Thigpen - I liked him and thought he had potential, but we let him get away.

Matt Moore - He used to be a decent backup, but based on the preseason the last 2 years, I think we're lucky he hasn't had to play.

Ryan Tannehill - jury is still out.

Very good assessment overall, Victor!

Thats a sad list to look at. You have to be creative to find any bright spots.

I actually liked Fiedler, he had everything you'd want in an NFL QB...well except an arm.spinning smiley sticking its tongue out He and Lamar smith had almost 1500 rushing yards between them and won a playoff game that year (yes it's been 15 years since a playoff win) If only we could have unscrewed the arm of Griese, or Henne, or Lucas and put it on Fiedler...

Pennington was similar he had the QB 'IT' just no arm.

The rest of them up to Tannehill, I wouldn't trade the water boy for...and he's getting close to the edge of that cliff.

My favorite game of Fiedler's was when he faked out Trace Armstrong (who had become a Raider) and ran it in to the end zone to win the game.

Agreed, his arm was his only shortcoming. Then at one point (I think it was a snowy game in Denver) he again orchestrated a winning drive but hurt the thumb on his throwing arm. After that his throwing was even worse. Played with heart though, I liked the guy (unlike 99.99999999% of the people posting on this board at the time)
