yeah, Ireland is a freakin genius. His moves always work out.

throw-away=garbage

It's really hard to say, Truth.
At pick 12, I don't think a guard will be in that group for Ireland's big board. There will be other positions that will be rated higher, and guard will be below that.
Saying that, Ireland did learn from Parcells, and we all know what kind of thinking he had. Go for the big boys! If Ireland still thinks like that, then it's possible he could go for that position (guard). But, I still don't think so.
As I have said on numerous occasions, if Ireland trades down and that guard is there, then it is very possible that's where he goes.

Yeah...so much information to come that will change the perception and rankings of these kids.
I was only saying that if we thought a LG was the best plyer on the board we'd take him.
Chances of that being the case are slim once people start dissecting film.
That's why I really want us to trade down. I don't think there's an obvious elite talent on the board at 12 and I think there are 5-10 players we could use that will have similar grades.
Trade down get one from: TE's Eiffert or Ertz...Johnathan Cooper, Barret Jones or another olineman...or one of the better wr's like Williams, Bailey, Allen etc.
Right now they have several of the WR's going in the second. Cordarrelle Patterson would be nice if we can get the BPA at 12. CB, DE or OL.
Seems to be deep in Wr this year. Outside of Keenan and Williams there is
Cordarrelle Patterson, Justin Hunter, Tavon Austin, Da'Rick Rogers, DeAndre Hopkins, Robert Woods, Stedman Bailey. There arre around 16 WR's that are ranked in the top two rounds this year. Not to mention the TE's.
Would be nice to get a stud CB at 1, one of the Wr's and TE's at 2a and and 2b. OT at 3a, OG at 3b.

Yep. That means one less player falls to 12 and one more team will be looking for a tackle.
I sure hope some of these QB's fly up the chart as they have over the past couple of years so we can land some blue chip talent. It would be nice to see 2 or 3 drop before 12.
1. Quality WR draft with top pick for years to come with Tannehill.
2. FA - Sign Greg Jennings from Packers as slot receiver
3. TE with one 2nd and RT with the other
4. Resign Sean Smith, and another saftey with one of the 3rd picks
5. Let the rest of the draft play out with best available prefer to see a diamond in the rough (ala Zack) LB for future
