WTH is going on with this guy?

First it's release then trade then restructure then we find out he has 3 mil guaranteed for injury. Ireland just keeps on screwing us with these contracts.

If they restructure and keep this guy and put him back at starting WLB, I am going to freak out. Jenkins earned that spot last year and he doesn't really fit anywhere else. He's not a run stuffing SLB or MLB.

So weak side is a travesty for Ellerbe. Move him back to MLB where he was useless? Or put him at SLB? What's the sense of keeping him AND Misi?

Misi is likely to move back to SLB. What's the use of paying Misi 4.5 mil to be a part time player and probably the same amount for Ellerbe, assuming he restructures.

With any luck, they will restructure Ellerbe and then trade him to a 3-4 team.

I don't think there is a market for Ellerbe teams know that he will be available so they can just wait. He is a veteran so he will pick up a 3-4 scheme quickly. He did look damn good here in Bmore 3-4 before we fell in love w/ him and overpayed him to play in our 4-3.

Still trying to figure out what we pay Misi for?

@ArmandoSalguero

And the Dolphins leader in performance based bonus for 2014 is LB Jelani Jenkins who picks up a cool $242,782.

We had that argument last off season Sam. Misi is the least productive out of the 3 (Wheeler & Ellerbe). Stats prove it but people will make excuses for him. I cannot think of one game changing or big play from Wheeler Ellerbe or Misi but at least Wheeler and Ellerbe could find the ball carrier. So many times I have seen Misi standing looking down at the pile. Misi was a second round pick and never has given us a return on the investment.

I really would like to see this guy get the hell out of town in the purge but folks like him.
