The last three games should be watched.

If he plays the bench to see what he has, then I automatically give him a pass until next season. If he figures that this season is lost, that's the proper thing to do.

On the other hand, if he plays the final three games to win and if he plays the regulars and the games are close but he continues with his reckless playcalling at the end of the games, then win or lose, I as the owner call him onto the carpet at the end of the year and have a "sit down" with him and basically ask "Are you stupid or what? The fact that we got rid of the Turtle Tony Sparano does not mean we want a drunken cowboy running our team. If this is your philosophy and so much a part of your essence that you can't see things my way, you and your offensive coordinator will have to be on your way."

If the games are close - no matter which players are lining up - and the same calls are made at the end, I would think he'd get the carpet call in your scenario.
