They obviously had confidence that Vernon and Shelby could get the job done at DE. Your back-up players have to get in the game, and if they never get to play in critical situations they will never know if they can handle it...That said, I agree completely with the position that that Wake and Odrick should have been in the game.

Not a conspiracy. It's much worse. They ACTUALLY BELIEVE that what they are doing is either 1) correct or 2) makes no difference.

As I was reading eesti's original post, I was ALSO thinking "Hey, that's the same feeling I have on offense." The only thing they seem to do right is give the ball to Daniel Thomas on third and short.

However, when they could use Lamar Miller on the first few downs, when they could throw the short pass out to Bush in space, the under utilization of Charles Clay, the failure to put test out other players on the offense in other position.

Why did I say it was "worse" than a conspiracy theory? Because incompetence is much worse intentional failure. Because incompetence can't be cured.
