Dude, I think the announcers said that that game TIED FOR THE BIGGEST LOSS AFTER THE BIGGEST LEAD IN AT LEAST THE LAST TWO DECADES.
Killing them with the read option in the first half and going away from it in the second half wherein (except those times he broke free) Kaepernick looked like scared rabbit Tannehill IN THE POCKET where.....

I missed the second half of the SD/SF game last night...how many many read option plays did the winning QB in that game run??
the read option was working for us when we were winning then we went away from it. We should use it some as that is one of Tannehill's strengths, but we can't teach pocket presence, decision making and the deep ball or touch pass
Both are apparently afflicted with an illness I call "Lew Alcindor syndrome."
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was born Lew Alcindor.
He was in college on UCLA's John Wooden's basketball team.
Can we all agree that John Wooden was the greatest coach in history covering all sports, and at all levels????????????
In one game, Wooden was employing a particular strategy that was beating the other team to death.
At half-time, Lew Alcindor spoke up and said, "Coach we're doing so and so and beating them but they are bound to adjust and take it away, so what are we gonna do in the second half."
Wooden said: "And when they adjust or show that they can stop us, we're gonna go to something else THEN but UNTIL THEN we're gonna keep hitting with the same thing over and over and over and over again, UNTIL THEY SHOW ME THEY CAN STOP IT."
Over-thinkers like Philbin and Harbaugh stop themselves before the other team ever proves they can stop them.
