No Joe. Answer me this. (Luv that phrase). Aaron Rodgers scored his WINNING touchdown with ONLY SIX SECONDS LEFT ON THE CLOCK after we called TWO TIMEOUTS!
Don't you at least kind of wonder if we had NOT called those timeouts, that maybe, possibly or might he have used up 7 seconds are so in those two or three instances where the clock has to keep running while teams line up to run a play....
and having used 7 seconds that the game clock would have run out on him.
Of course I'm being sarcastic when the plain truth is that NO WAY does Rodgers have the time to score his game winning touchdown IF PHILBIN HAD NOT CALLED OR ALLOWED TO BE CALLED THOSE TIMEOUTS.
He called them because he wanted to make sure we had the right defense.
That's the problem with him. He is OVERLY FRIGHTENED BY THE LONG BOMB and he's give up the game inch by inch just to avoid that.
I think he was talking in figurative instead of literal terms, JSM08. I think he was saying that by Odrick's actions in yelling at Philbin, that was what he was communicating.
As I stated in another thread, I don't really know which way to lean yet but it will be decided over the next 3 weeks.
There is no reason we can't win out. We are injured but we did beat NE twice in a row. They were not in sync in week 1 but we lost two of our LB's as well and were without Reshad Jones and Mike Pouncey. We will be without LB'ers this time around as well.
If Coyle keeps pulling starters on final drives then I will be calling for his head and Philbin's as well if he allows him to keep doing it.
The last two games are at home against inferior teams.
Odrick might not have said it, but that is EXACTLY the problem. Someone needs to step up, become the face of this franchise and take us to that 'next level' (back to relevance) For almost 15 years now, no one has...
Injuries, yea, but a lot of them happened AFTER the Packers and Lions debacle.
Thinking about things, an astounding loss--a huge blow out--by the Patriots on Sunday, just might be the death knell for Joe Philbin's head coaching career. Aside from us scoring enough points, is the defense going to stop the run? Can we put Brady on his back or at least force him to throw the ball away? We can all speculate....I hope we surprise the heck out of them and take it to them for 60 minutes!

So you never yell at your wife? She never yells at you? Does that mean no respect?

Dont try and twist it joe....
This is a bussiness. A player should respect his coach....And screaming at him is not the way.
Thats like yelling at your boss....
Too bad in this case its the boss whos on the way out.

I'm not twisting it. "Should" has nothing to do with it. Don't be surprised when Philbin is retained and Odrick is not re-signed!
if anyone is twisting its you but putting words into Odricks mouth that he didn't say. you should have just quoted him.

"Odrick bitched about Coyle and Philbin stuck up for him. That's where Odrick remarks about coaches always having a way out.
It doesn't bode well for Philbin that he and his staff continually make the same mistakes without correction but it does not exactly reflect your original paraphrased statement. "
I agree with those comments.
The defensive players complained earlier in the year also. None of that bodes well for Coyle.
Ive noticed that Coyle seems to pull out all the starters and insert the backups instead of pulling one out here and there. I know I was looking for Wake a lot last game.
