Happy Thanksgiving

Today is a traditional family day across our nation. Getting together to celebrate the harvest became entrenched a long time ago. We need to remember and appreciate our bounty and to continue to help others who need a brief helping hand.

Today is also a jam packed day for NFL football. While, I'd love to be able to sit in the old easy chair watching today's games, however, my children and grandchildren and 4 loving collies will be occupying much of my time. It will be "Dad this, Dad that, or Grandpa this or that." The dogs will stay in my presence, like shadows, as they know who the patriarch of the family is now (my Dad's gone, he would be 100) and also to vie for attention which I so routinely give to them. (All I need is some goats or sheep and I'd feel quite happy with them looking over the flock with these dogs.) It will be a wonderful day. thumbs up

I hope each of you enjoys the day with your family and relatives too--even the furry kind. And if you catch a few downs--that's good too. grinning smiley

It's early morning on "Black Friday" and the house is quiet again. Yesterday was a wonderful day with family and all the dogs. cool smiley

I only caught the third and part of the 4th quarter of the Seattle/SF game. SF looked flat. I see this morning they mustered 3 points so it wasn't a shut out. They have issues.... The ups and downs of teams still amazes me.

Been while since all the thanksgiving games was blow outs. Was pretty disappointing and sad to watch. Boring really.

My TV wasn't even on yesterday I don't think. Sounds like I didn't miss much! Concentrated on family time.

Four collies colonel!? that's a lot of herding! (one of them isn't named "Austin" is it?)

I still don't get why the Lions and the Cowboys get a lock on every Thanksgiving day. All teams should get the rotation .

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Mine are just 10 and 15. When I go by the local park and see the swings I get teary eyed. I still have a lot to look forward to, but enjoy these days brother!

GO DOLPHINS!!!!
