Looks like we get Geno

New York Jets @nyjets 2m
QB Update: Rex met with Geno Smith & Mike Vick this morning and told the QBs that Geno will get the start vs. MIA on Monday Night.

This is good news IMO, even though Vick is well past his prime and not playing well, I was a little afraid he'd pull a rabbit outta his arse and lay a gem on us Monday night. Can't come out flat and lay an egg to this team!

The last game we played against either QB did not go very well for us. It's a coin toss which Dolpin's team shows up.

Don't worry Coyle will give the Jets a awesome game plan that will keep them in the game and likely beat us.

When its been a close game we have never ever won at the end with prevent defense.

Agreed. If the Phins aren't blitzing coming out of the locker room then somebody needs to be fired before Tuesday morning.

I'm not gonna put it all on Coyle. Sure, he could have called a better game, but watching what is happening on the field, our front seven was being pushed around the whole game and our DBs had a lot of trouble staying with Denver's receivers. True, Miami has a lot of injuries at DB, but that has nothing to do with our front not getting to Peyton and allowing over 200 yards rushing.

Were they tired? Doubtful, since Miami's offense was on the field a lot and giving them a lead throughout the game. Altitude have an affect? Didn't seem to bother our offense?

Anyway, it isn't all Coyle.

He was joking. Perhaps a reference to what type of defense we played in the last drive that Matt Stafford did and basically in the whole game against Peyton Manning.

Even in years past i remember we were winning one time against the texans and they beat us in the last drive last play of game with that dumb prevent defense. I think it was 2 years ago.

Where their star receiver had that great 4th down catch....I knew right there it was over then..

The qb sneaked in the endzone for the last td and play of game.
